Are you looking for a step by step guide on how to delete facebook page?
Using this guide, you can delete any kind of facebook page; business or personal in 2020.
There may be couple of reasons for deleting your facebook page. It is important to know that once you delete it, you cannot restore it.
However, you can download your information including posts, pictures and videos. I will describe it later in this guide.
I’ve provided the procedure for both Computer ( Laptop or Desktop ) and Phone ( Android or ios) including all the steps with pictures.
How to Delete Facebook Page on a Computer:
Step 1: Open your browser and go to www.facebook.com. Enter your login information and click Log In.
Step 2: Click on the downward facing arrow on the top right and then click on the name of the page you want to delete.
Step 3: Now click on the Settings as highlighted in the picture below.
Step 4: If you want to download all the information of your page including posts, pictures and videos. Click on Download Page Information.The facebook will take some time to create a copy of your information. You will receive a notification from facebook when it is done. Simply, download it. Skip this step if you don’t want to save your page information.
Step 5: In the Settings, you can see the option, Remove Page. Click on the Edit on the right of it.
Step 6: Now, click on Permanently delete followed by the name of your page. Check your page name before doing it.
In my case, it is “Permanently delete Life is Good”.
Step 7: Finally, click on Delete and BOOM! Your page is successfully deleted.

Before following this guide, make sure to update your Facebook app.

Step 1: Open the playstore on your android phone and open the menu on the top left corner as shown below.

Step 2: Now, open My apps & games, which is the first option, as highlighted below.
Step 3: Finally, look for facebook app and update it. As you can see below, I’ve already updated it to the latest version.
How to update facebook app on Iphone:
To update your app on ios, follow these steps:- Open app store on your device then tap on Today at the bottom of screen.
- Tap on your profile image on the top of the screen.
- Search facebook and update it if it is not updated.
Now, follow the exact steps given below. They’re same for both android and ios because the facebook app is similar on both devices.
Step 1: Open the Facebook app on your device and tap on the menu on the top right as highlighted below.
Step 2: Tap on the Pages menu box as highlighted below.
Step 3: Now, tap on the Page you want to delete. In my case, it is “Life is Good”.
Step 4: Now, swipe left to see the options hidden in the right side.
Step 5: Tap on the More option as highlighted below.
Step 6: Swipe up to see the options in the bottom.
Step 7: Now, tap on the Settings option.
Step 8: Go to the General option on the top.
Step 9: Swipe up and look for Remove Page option and tap on Permanently delete ( followed by the name of your page ). Double check your page name before doing it.
For example, in my case, it is "Permanently delete Life is Good".
Step 10: Finally, click on Delete Page and DONE! You have successfully deleted your facebook Page.
